Wahid Foundation in collaboration with UN woman is currently running the program WISE-GUYUB Project. The purpose of the project is to strengthen the implementation of Peace Village program as a gender-responsive community-based mechanism to promote peaceful communities and gender equality.

 

In these 18 months of project, Wahid will focus on the 10 villages in West Java, Central Java, and East Java (Panggulan Pulo, Panggulan, Tajur Halang, Nglinggi, Gemblegan, Candirenggo, Sidomulyo, Guluk-Guluk, Prancak and Payundan Dundang), and to work towards one of program outcomes: Strengthening the implementation of Peace Village as a gender-responsive community- based mechanism to promote peaceful communities and gender equality

 

To run to this project, there will be two outputs:

  1. Peace Village Communities in East Java have an even stronger commitment to values that undermine the message of violent extremism
  2. Grassroots women’s organizations and Village Working Group / Village Task Force (Pokja) Members from 10 Peace Villages are empowered and well position to document, monitor, liaise and facilitate interactions with formal and informal justice providers, and their resilience is enhanced to build a just and sustainable future.

To implement the program, we need several people to the position as:

  1. Program Manager
  2. Program Officer
  3. Program Assistant

 

  1. Program Manager

Responsibilities:

  1. Create a detailed work plan, schedule for project completion, review the project schedule, and determine the objective and measures upon which the project will be evaluate at its completion.
  2. Build partnership and working closely with project key stakeholders including government agencies (National and Local), CSO and media.
  3. Manage project staff and/or volunteers according to the established policies and practices of the project and organization.
  4. Execute, develop, monitor, review, and establish the progress of the project and make adjustment as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project.
  5. Write reports, monitor cash flow and narratives to senior management on a regular basis.
  6. Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality.
  7. Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase.

 

Requirements:

  1. Education & Knowledge:

Minimum graduated with Bachelor degree (in any major), preferable Master degree.

  1. Experience:

Min have 7-year work experience as Project Leader or Team Leader

  1. Languages:

Mastery in Bahasa Indonesia and English.

  1. Personal Skills & Abilities:
    • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills;
    • Honest and strong integrity;
    • Ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions;
    • Ability to negotiate, establish, and administer contract;
    • Commitment to humanitarian and human right principles and values
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
    • Accurate and precise attention to detail;
    • Ability to work well with management, staff, and stakeholders at all levels;
    • Goal-oriented, organized team player;
    • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  1. Program Officer

Responsibilities:                                                                                                                                      

  1. Implement and monitor of the project work realized through curriculum and data, strategic project oversight and frameworks, including reporting of the project.
  2. Preparing the TOR and update report in narratives in daily activities, monthly, and quarterly, and final report.
  3. Preparing the project activity, including managing and supervising project assistant’s work.
  4. Documenting and publishing the project activity by coordinating with media team actively.
  5. Work with woman, communities, and stakeholders of the Peace Village and in a wider level to develop solutions to issues facing communities. Candidate will also be integral in the development of impact and outcomes.
  6. Build partnership and working closely with project key stakeholders including government agencies, CSO and media.
  7. Monitor progress and quality of activities at field level.
  8. Inspect on daily basis activities at field to ensure adherence to agreed standards and processes
  9. Monitor the delivery, handling and utilization of materials at field.
  10. Perform other tasks requested by Project Manager.

Requirements:

  1. Education & Knowledge:

Minimum graduated with Bachelor degree (in any major), preferable social and/or humanity science.

  1. Experience:

Min have 4-year work experience as Project Officer

  1. Languages:

Mastery in Bahasa Indonesia and English.

  1. Personal Skills & Abilities:
    • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills;
    • Honest and strong integrity;
    • Ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions;
    • Ability to negotiate, establish, and administer contract;
    • Strong organizational skills and able to coordinate and manage a diverse array of activities and stakeholders.
    • Commitment to humanitarian and human right principles and values
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.

  1. Program Assistant

Responsibilities:                                                                                                                                      

  1. Manages and implement all the day-to-day operations (administrative and financial) of a cycles project implementation.
  2. Responsible in collecting, filling, and inventory the document of the project.
  3. Responsible for helping project officer prepare Advance Financial Request.
  4. Helping Project Officer in implementing, monitoring, and documenting activities of the projects.
  5. Responsible in administrative and financial reporting and recording, stationary, asset and asset list that associated with the project cycle.
  6. Taking minutes of project meeting.
  7. Provide administrative document for the project.
  8. Maintaining database of Project implementation.
  9. Identifying and selecting the most appropriate suppliers or resources to fulfil purchase request, raising efficiency and achieving greater cost effectiveness.
  10. Preparing plans and records for the purchase of equipment and all necessary needs, services and supplies regarding to Project Procurement Procedure.
  11. Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers.
  12. Other duties as per assignment.

 

Requirements:

  1. Education & Knowledge:

Minimum graduated with Bachelor degree (in any major), preferable finance and/or administration degree.

  1. Experience:

Min have 3-year work experience as Project Assistant

  1. Languages:

Able in Bahasa Indonesia and English (passive)

  1. Personal Skills & Abilities:
    • Strong interpersonal skills;
    • Honest and strong integrity;
    • Ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions;
    • Ability to establish and administer contract;
    • Strong organizational skills and able to coordinate and manage a diverse array of activities and stakeholders.
    • Commitment to humanitarian and human right principles and values
    • Ability to perform administrative and financial reporting.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
    • Accurate and precise attention to detail;
    • Ability to work well with team, and stakeholders at all levels;
    • Goal-oriented, organized team player.
    • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, and Financial System.

Contract Duration

6 months (June to November 2020) with possibility of extension.
